🐧 Who Am I? 🐧

🐧 Who Am I? 🐧

Welcome to my blog! I'm so excited to get to know you and share a bit about myself 😊

1. Favorite Season: WINTER ⛄

I know it's not a popular choice, as most people tend to prefer summer, but I'm drawn to winter. There are so many recreational activities to enjoy and be happy about: going out for snacks, gathering with friends, watching movies, and strolling in the sun during the afternoon siesta. Plus, winter fashion is way better than summer, right?

2. Rainy days? We love them! ☔

If you like winter, you've got to love rainy days! I think I enjoy the whole experience a rainy day brings: the scent of wet earth, the sound of raindrops on things, watching the rain fall—it's a mesmerizing experience.

3. Bday? 🎂

I was born on December 10, 2001, on a hot monday. There's not much more to say about it, except that I was born on some very warm days (probably why I like winter).

4. I have 4 cats! 🐱

Well, they're not technically mine, they belong to my mom :). But I love them all; they are the sweetest and most affectionate cats I know. Their names are Me, Mu, Malu, and Meli (I'll tell you the story behind their names another day; in fact, those are their nicknames, their real names are different, haha).
And my boyfriend adopted a kitty! Her name is Minerva, she's lovely and so pretty😍

5. Music? 🎧

I have a very eclectic taste in music, and it usually changes depending on the time of year and my mood. Some of the most listened English artists are Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, Phoebe Bridgers, etc. And in Spanish: Zoe Gotusso, Conociendo Rusia, Dillom, etc, etc, etc. I know they have very different styles, but I enjoy them all :)

6. Where am I writing from? ✍

I was born in Argentina, specifically in a city in the province of Córdoba. However, a few years ago, I moved to the capital city because the national university offers the career I'm studying. So yes, I'm a typical student living in the big city.

7. Favorite moment of the day ☕

I think the moments I enjoy the most are the whole ritual of making breakfast and afternoon snacks. Waking up and quietly preparing coffee and toast. Lately, it has become a ritual to have coffee with my boyfriend while watching our favorite series at the moment. I really appreciate those moments of enjoyment with him.
That's a summer breakfast that I made for my boyfriend and I. We love avocado💚

8. Favorite Movie? 🎦

I have several favorites, but Ratatouille is my all-time favorite. It has a mystical charm from beginning to end: the music, the dialogues, the colors, and the scenes in Paris and the kitchen! It's pure magic. Also, I love very much Harry Potter! Other beloved movies include The Princess and the Frog, Brave, and Shrek 2! I can watch these movies every time I have free time, I mean watch it every day, over and over again! 😂

9. I enjoy cooking 🍪🍳

I love cooking! I admit I'm quite clumsy and tend to burn or cut myself sometimes, but I usually cook pretty well! I prefer making savory dishes, although pastry is incredibly extraordinary. Pasta is what I enjoy cooking the most, :) and I really like cooking for the people I love 💘
That's a pancake, I made it with banana and oats, and we usually eat it with honey and coconut.
Also with my boyfriend we really like to go out for dinner or snacks, we really appreciate having gastronomic experiences!😋

And you? Do you have something you'd like to tell me? Do we have anything in common?
If you made it this far, thank you! I'll be reading you, see ya soon :)

Movie Review: Perfect Blue

Hello!👋 Here I am again, with another review, this time about the chosen movie, Perfect Blue! 💙 When I watched this film, it was a Sunday, and my boyfriend and I were on the couch🛋. I was expecting a movie in the style of Makoto Shinkai (director of Your Name, Weathering with You, etc.), which is to say, soft☁️ and emotionally resonant (because all the anime movies I've seen have been like that), and I find myself facing a completely different scenario😨. So, to understand the context of the movie at a deeper level, we should know that it's a 🇯🇵Japanese animation from the 1990s, a period in which 🍬pop culture and the media were undergoing significant changes🔄. The film was released in 1997 and directed by Satoshi Kon, who later became a renowned figure in the world of animation🎞🎥. Some of his other notable works include Paprika (2006) and Millennium Actress (2001). Okay, knowing that, what's the plot of this movie?🧐 Perfect Blue is a film that stands out for its...

TV Serie Review: Reasons to Watch FLEABAG Today!😝

Hello you!👋💜 I hope you're doing well. Today, I bring you a review of one of my favorite series of 2022 - Fleabag!💘 It's a British television series🎬 created by and starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge💁. The series premiered in 2016 and consists of two seasons, totaling 12 episodes. The episodes are short, so you'll breeze through the series in just a couple of hours!🕒 The plot follows the life of a London woman in her thirties who owns a cafe☕ with endless debts and continually grapples with people throughout the series. Naturally, we find ourselves navigating the complexities of her personal and professional life. But if we delve deeper, why should you really watch Fleabag?👀 Brilliant Writing📝 : One of the most outstanding aspects of the series is Phoebe Waller-Bridge's witty and sharp script💬 (she's an excellent actress, by the way). The series tackles themes like loneliness, loss, love, sex, and family with a humorous and often irreverent approach. Waller-Brid...

I traveled with my boyfriend to one of the 7 wonders of the world! ✈🌎

✨Discovering the Iguazu Falls: Unmissable Experiences and Helpful Tips💙 That's me as a happy tourist :) Hello! In today's blog, I will tell you about my experience traveling as a tourist to the Iguazú Falls. I will give you advice and tips so that if you ever travel, it will be the best experience possible! I have a lot to tell! 🚌Avoid taxis and take advantage of urban buses: Within the city, taxis are usually quite expensive. An economical and convenient alternative is to use the urban buses, which run every 15 minutes, leave from the terminal and go to the park. For only around 700 Argentine pesos, you can travel comfortably. Extra fact: They also take you to the Brazilian side of the falls, wait for you to do migrations and leave you at the park gate. IMPORTANT! The transport company only receives cash. 🥘Delight in a Misiones gastronomic experience  Misiones has a rich culinary tradition that combines influences from Guarani indigenous cuisine with flavors from Argentine ...
